What kind of roles are available in the cinema?

This web site describes all the roles available at Vue Cinemas and gives you an insight into what it is like to work here through "Our People" pages. If you still need more information, feel free to drop into your local cinema and speak to one of our Managers.

How much will I get paid?

Every role carries a different salary. We regularly benchmark our salaries to ensure that they are competitive within the market place. We will usually discuss salary details with you at the interview stage.

How many hours will I be expected to work?

Our cinemas operate on a shift rota system. You will normally be expected to work at least 4 hours per week. The maximum you will be contracted to work is 40 hours per week.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes. However, you will need to submit separate applications for each role.

What is the recruitment process?

This varies according to the role you have applied for. It will usually consist of the online application process, an interview, a role simulation exercise and a trial shift.

Can I apply using a paper based application form for cinema based roles?

We are only accepting applications online for our cinema roles.

How long will it take to complete my on-line application?

The process should take no more than 30 minutes.

How do I apply for a position at your Head Office?

If you are interested in one of our roles at our Head Office in West London, email a covering letter including your current salary details and a full CV to human.resources@vuemail.com
