A General Manager at Vue needs to be all these and more. Running a multiplex business has loads of dimensions that need to be attended to and skilfully dealt with. Customers need to be kept happy, profits need to be kept healthy and staff morale needs to be kept sky high. If it’s a full-on, fast-paced business challenge you’re after, this is most definitely it.

You will take the lead across a whole variety of areas, from HR and training all the way to marketing and product promotions. One minute you could be dealing with film buyers, the next sorting out the presentation of the concessions area. One day you could be interviewing new recruits, the next managing a party of school children and making sure we are safe by training fire safety. Make no mistake, this is one role where no two days will ever be the same.
